Holiday/Ramadan Warden Message # 24/2008

The United States Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Consulate General in Dubai will be closed on Sunday, August 31, 2008 in observance of U.S. Labor Day. 

Embassy Abu Dhabi and Consulate General Dubai will be open for all services during the month of Ramadan which is expected to begin on September 1, 2008. Specific Ramadan hours for each post are presented below.

Embassy Abu Dhabi

Routine citizen services will be available Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.

Telephone Inquiry Hours:

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for matters related to routine citizen services

1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for matters related to immigrant visas

1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for matters related to nonimmigrant visas

Consulate General Dubai

American Citizen Services hours remain unchanged: Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 12:30 and 3:00 p.m.

Telephone Inquiry Hours:

8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for matters related to routine citizen services

3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for matters related to non-immigrant visas
