U.S. Embassy Participates in NAJAH Exhibition, the largest education Fair in Abu Dhabi
The U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi and several American universities (New York University Abu Dhabi, Michigan State University Dubai, New York Institute for Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology) participated in the NAJAH Exhibition at the Abu Dhabi National Exposition Center from October 20-22, 2009. We offered educational advising sessions on site, presentations on studying in the U.S.A, and opportunities for students to ask consular officers questions about the visa application process. We also distributed publications on programs and opportunities for study in the U. S. to university students, educators, and other academic professionals, and information about how to contact educational advisors with follow-up questions.
Over one thousand students, parents and teachers visited the EducationUSA booth to learn more about studying in the U.S. We were extremely grateful to welcome His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan on the opening day of NAJAH. Ambassador Olson visited the exhibition to show his strong support for American educational institutions in the UAE and the advising services offered by the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the U.S. Consulate General in Dubai.
