Ambassador Richard Olson spoke with new Abu Dhabi economic daily Arroya Aleqtisadia, highlighting the strong trade and commerce ties between the United States and the UAE. The Ambassador noted that our bilateral trade balance has grown from approximately $2 billion to $17 billion between 2001 and 2008, making the UAE in 2008 the U.S.' largest export market in the Middle East and North Africa region.
