ADNOC and ZADCO welcome Ambassador Olson (April 5, 2009)
ZADCO, one of the companies of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), hosted Ambassador Olson for a day-long visit to their offshore oil field and their central processing facility in Zirku Island, located 140km offshore northwest of Abu Dhabi. Ambassador Olson had the opportunity to see the complex and extensive oil handing systems: “I was delighted to visit Zirku Island as a guest of ZADCO and ADNOC. I was impressed by the efficiency of their operations and by their firm commitment to environmental protection.”
