Embassy Hosts Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Sholars from New York University Abu Dhabi

The U.S. Embassy hosted sixteen Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed University Scholars from New York University Abu Dhabi for a discussion of leadership, current events and bilateral relations.  The scholars recently completed a visit to the United States for meetings with other leaders and academic specialists. 

Ambassador Olson commended the students for being selected for the prestigious program and said "New York University’s presence is a symbol of the UAE’s commitment to academic excellence and intellectual development, and the focus on nurturing national leaders shows an important commitment to the future growth and strength of the UAE."  They had the opportunity to discuss the strength of the bilateral relationship, the growth of our trade relations, and the significant cooperative partnership between the U.S. and the UAE on regional and strategic issues.
