Reminder to U.S. Citizens in the UAE

The U.S. Embassy and U.S. Consulate General wish to remind all U.S. citizens in the UAE of the guidance contained in the Department of State's Worldwide Caution dated July 18, 2012. In light of the unrest and demonstrations seen in the region over the past week, we particularly urge citizens planning travel in the region to review the referenced guidance. While we do not anticipate that similar events will take place in the UAE, US citizens should remain alert, aware of their surroundings, and should closely follow local developments.
