EducationUSA Greets Prospective Students at the International Students Network University Fair
Over three hundred students and parents, including both UAE nationals and non-nationals, attended the International Students Network University Fair on February 11, 2008 at the Abu Dhabi Beach Rotana Hotel. More than 25 American colleges and universities welcomed enquiries and offered students and parents information on their academic programs, application processes and available scholarships. The ISN fair is one of many fairs regularly held in the UAE that highlight opportunities to study in the United States.
EducationUSA, part of the American Center for Press and Culture, greeted visitors at our information booth. Embassy educational advisers distributed material about studying in the U.S., answered questions, and offered students, guidance counselors and parents opportunities to make an appointment to visit the Educational Resource Center at the U.S. Embassy and learn more about applying to U.S. universities. If you are a prospective student, or the parent of a student, and are interested in exploring the possibility of studying in the U.S., please visit the EducationUSA website or contact an educational adviser at EducationUSAabudhabi@state.gov (for residents of Abu Dhabi) or EducationUSADubai@state.gov (for residents of Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Ajman and Um al-Quwain).
