The Political Section reports on a wide range of topics, from political changes in the UAE leadership to the trafficking in persons. Our current bilateral priorities generally fall into the following categories: Political/Military Affairs, Non-Proliferation, Democracy, Reform, Human Rights, Labor, Trafficking in Persons, and Counter-Terrorism. The Political Section also supports the high-level visitors that come to Abu Dhabi throughout the year, including legislative and executive branch officials.
